Grateful I was able to connect with my son last evening, catch up on what's happening in his life. My 2 children will always be the most important people in my life but realize they're both adults now & I have to give them space to live their own lives. Harder than I thought to enter this "empty nest" stage of life.
Grateful it's supposed to be sunny out today & little chance of rain. Should be able to go on the hike this evening with my meetup group. Always feel better after exercising, getting out in the fresh air, enjoying our beautiful river valley.
Grateful it was dry enough yesterday to cut the grass. Grateful I now know how to operate the gas mower - much prefer mowing the lawn to snow shoveling!

Grateful that I had a good weekend and a good Monday. Grateful that I had a good, long phone conversation with my son and caught up on his and his wife's news. Always grateful for my other son's decision to be committed to his recovery and grateful for the sponsor he's found who has helped tremendously. Grateful that my husband and I are going to have a nice dinner for 2 tonight because I have the day off work so I have the time to cook something special.
- Grateful for this beautiful Wednesday, even with high winds and crazy amounts of rain - I am sober, and that is what matters. :-)
- Grateful to continue with healthy food choices and lose another two pounds.
- Grateful for new clients to help put food on the top and provide shelter for my family.
- Grateful my mind and body is very capable of doing the work my clients require.
- Grateful to find peace and contentment in each day.
- Grateful for all the necessities of life.
- Grateful for all of you

Grateful I found my tablet at work when I realized last evening I didn't have it. Panicked when I realized if somebody found it they could access all my personal info, emails, contacts, etc as it wasn't security locked; quickly changed all my devices to a security pin when I got home.
Grateful I was home yesterday & could give my tenants a ride to the local mall. Good for me to keep busy on my days off, know they really appreciated getting out.
Grateful it stopped raining this morning & so grateful I cut my grass when I did!

- Grateful to wake up way too early this morning, but find peace and productivity in doing so, rather than withdrawals and puking like the old days of abusing my body.
- Grateful to have the desire to search for a new healthy recipe to cook tonight.
- Grateful to have food to prepare supper for the family.
- Grateful to have shelter to protect us from this massive wind and rain storm.
- Grateful to look forward to looking after my granddaughter tonight for a bit.
- Grateful my kids are finding happiness in their life and enjoy sharing it with me daily.
- Grateful for sobriety - life would be a horrific nightmare without it.
- Grateful for all of you.
