As always, when I wake up in the wee hours of the night I am grateful that I feel good and am not going thru withdrawals like I used to do.

  • Grateful to live where I do.
  • Grateful for books, movies, and music.
  • Grateful to be interested in today.
  • Grateful it is getting closer to visiting my son, who I haven't seen since Christmas.
  • Grateful for a close family.
  • Grateful my nephew is in jail and not in a morgue - he is safe from harm - he will detox and hopefully be ready to surrender.
  • Grateful for sobriety and all it offers.
  • Grateful for all of you.

Good morning all.
I'm grateful today, and every day, for my wife and three children. I'm so glad that I have a second chance to be a solid father and husband.

Grateful for the promise of warm weather for the holiday weekend.
Grateful for signs of spring and new life.
Grateful to Pope Francis, who in troubled times shares the Good News through the Easter ritual of washing of feet, giving comfort to asylum seekers.
