• Grateful my son arrived safely yesterday to stay for the long weekend.
• Grateful my family is coming to the house for a get-together, including supper.
• Grateful for my sobriety. Without it, I would be a "drunk, sleeping, puking wreck" and couldn't get supper or anything else together.
• Grateful the weather had a major turnaround - one day a massive snow storm and the next an awesome sunny day with lots of snow melting.
• Grateful to get up early to absorb the stillness of the morning before a busy day begins.
• Grateful to be strong mentally and physically going into the day.
