Grateful on this Thanksgiving weekend to live in this beautiful country of Canada! We are so privileged to live here; many of our rights & freedoms are taken for granted by myself & so many others. Grateful for our democracy and the privilege of being able to vote in our national election coming up in 1 week.

Grateful for the amazing weekend I've had so far: thoroughly enjoyed the house concert I was at Friday featuring 2 amazing country artists from Texas. Last night went out with a music group to a blues club to enjoy a very energetic Blues band. Perfect evening: able to socialize with many of the members before the band started, great music to listen & dance to!

Grateful for my 2 children who have grown into adults whom I am very proud of! Grateful I'll be able to share Thanksgiving dinner with them this evening & that we now feel like a family with the 3 of us. The challenges of the last 7yrs since their Dad died have helped each of us to grow & has strengthened the bond between us.
