Today I am grateful for:
1. waking up this morning
2. that my mom only has 2 more radiation treatments left
3. oranges
4. a call from my best friend before I left for work today
5. that my hairdresser worked me in and I am getting my hair done later today

Today I am grateful for:
1. the hug from soberwolf because I needed it today
2. naps
3. hope that things will get better
4. ketchup, because french fries wouldn't be the same without it
5. the monthly chair massages our company provides

Today I am grateful for:
1. SR and everyone here
2. soberwolf
3. ice cubes - because they keep my water cold and my dog loves to play with them
4. my DVR, because most of the time I am not home when my favorite shows are on
5. the Sunday newspaper

Today I am grateful for:
1. the start of a 3 day weekend
2. yellow roses because they remind me of my grandma
3. coffee because the AC is so cold at work and the coffee warmed me up (and woke me up
)
4. my sister-in-law because she is a good friend & she reminds me of when I was younger
5. the warmth of the sun on my skin

Opivotal, I am glad you are back and hope your foot surgery went well and was successful
Today I am grateful for:
1. getting to spend the day yesterday with my parents, brother & sister-in-law and my dog watching our first football game of the season, I just wish we would have won
2. the hope that I can make today my new day 1
3. the groceries I got last night so I don't have to go out today to get something to eat
4. that I have a bunch of movies on my DVR and I have time to watch one today
5. the strength I often feel like I don't have, but deep down I know I do

Setting yourself up to succeed is a good move. Heck, I didn't leave my house for quite a while . I knew, as soon as I passed a liquor store all bets were off.
Gaining some momentum in my sobriety first helped me immensely.
You can do this!

Now that I finally got past day 1 again, I am hoping I can build on that Thanks for the encouragement.
Today I am grateful for:
1. making it through yesterday without drinking
2. short work weeks
3. getting good sleep the last two nights
4. orange slushes from QT as my mom loves them
5. I am having cleaners come in to clean my house tomorrow, and it needs it badly
Now that I finally got past day 1 again, I am hoping I can build on that

1. that my dog keeps showing me parts of her personality that I haven't seen even after having her for 6 months
2. the chance for rain today
3. my new cat I "inherited" from my brother
4. that gas is slightly cheaper so it doesn't cost quite as much to fill up my gas tank
5. all kinds of music

Today I am Grateful ;
The vet could help my old dog Baby with stronger meds , to keep her more comfortable . So I can have her with me a little while longer

NestWasEmpty, I am glad the vet was able to help your dog by putting her on stronger meds.

1. My friend who trusts me enough to read a book he is writing and provide feedback
2. my Bose radio that I bought and spent way too much money on but I still use it every day 18 years later
3. my neighbor that helped me cut down the weeds in my landscaping
4. that it is almost time to go home
5. going to bed early
