I could never pay back what I have freely received here.

That pretty much explains it.
I find it rather amazing and a blessing for sure.
It is free to be a member here.
And the site helps me (us) so much in my (our) sobriety.

Morning, noon or night I (we) can come here for encouragement.
And to be reminded of what it used to be like.
What happened.
And, what it is like now in my (our) sober life.

Prayer
If I (we) might be of help for just one who still suffers
with the liquid devil as I (we) once did.

MM

I honestly think that without SR I would be completely hungover right now or dead.

This is so true. Reading everyone's stories of triumph & trials keeps me going.
It is nice to know you are understood & aren't alone.

I feel the same way. I owe my 8 months of sobriety to finding this site in a moment of fear and desperation after a binge at the end of a 15 year drinking problem. This site got me sober, keeps me sober, and more importantly opened the doors for a real and full life. What sobriety has given me if worth more than anything, and Sober Recovery was the key to finding sobriety.

Even on a slow day like today I come to this site 5 or 6 times.

Grateful

It is impossible to repay those that saved me from a agonizing death. The best I can do is try and be eternally grateful

SoberRecovery

A place I come to most every morning.
Helps to keep my mind focused on my sobriety for the day.

We must (if alcoholic) keep sobriety on the forefront of the mind.

Coming here several times a day
either on our home computer or on my smart phone
helps to keep sobriety on the forefront of my mind
it's hard to forget if I'm always remembering
I do appreciate that

As a newcomer I think a lot of you old timers have already contributed far more than you give yourselves credit for. You guys are already paid in full at least compared to me. But it's your humble attitude that keeps you grounded and grateful. Thanks for what you have already done/contributed.
