Grateful my son is turning 13 and I did it
 

My son turns 13 this Saturday and I'm grateful

Despite my former husband leaving me when my son was 2 1/2 I have overcome huge obstacles to raise a responsible, caring, fun and happy soon to be teenager.

Thanks to our fellowship it was a somewhat newly sober single Dad who stepped in and helped with all the day to day raising and I am also very grateful for him.

I'm also grateful despite many challenges with his AA recovery and my Al Anon recovery we both have 10 years, are still good friends and co-parents.
