RAH is 6 1/2 weeks in
I am grateful for my RAH's 6 1/2 weeks so far and the new life together this has brought us.
It has not been easy for me emotionally at all!! Who would have thought the recovery side of it would be harder than when he was actually drinking?
All the emotions from the past still lingering in my head while he is walking around on cloud nine. I am working on that and rebuilding my trust with him through this website, the Al Anon books and Family/Friends. I realize it is a long road and my recovery is, as his, "One Day at a Time".

Yes, it does take time to process our emotions. Your husband will come off his pink cloud when he addresses the results of his drinking. Hopefully, amends will be made.
