Many bad things happened to me because of my alcohol addiction and I am grateful because I have been broken down and I have learned. I am better without it as part of my life. I have been sober since march 13 this year and I am pretty sure I can live without alcohol. I have been cheating myself and the people who I have affected out of being the better person that I know I can be and deserve to be. I am glad to be alive today and sober.

Alcohol addiction for me started at a young age. Progressively over the years many things happened that forced me to live with guilt,shame,fear , remorse and sadness. There is really nothing I can say that has made alcohol a good part of my life. I hope there are some younger people who read this. My advice to you is find a way to quit and never look back because it will only get worse and If you don't believe me when you do it may be too late.

You can't change the past but you can try to make for a better future.
