Bedtime Gratitude ~ Part 53
Grateful to be on a spiritual and sobriety high after going to the opening Fri night speaker at the March Roundup AA convention in Dearborn, Mi.
It's a three day convention at the Adoba Hotel with national and international AA speakers on Fri night, Sat night, and Sun morning. There's also all kinds of AA and al anon workshops throughout the day that starts in the morning and goes through the evening.
The Fri night speaker was like a professional comedian while at the same time carrying a good AA message. People were laughing so hard they were falling off their seats!

Grateful to get back into the wilds & not-so-wilds of Stone Mountain State Park (North CArolina, not Georgia) with my hiking buddies. It was my first real mountain hike since I had the flu over the holidays. Gorgeous day, good company. Rejuvenating.
Grateful I can set boundaries & detach with love, even when the consequences require painful adjustments. Glad to take care of myself and not take care of others AT MY EXPENSE.

Grateful to continue being on a sober and spiritual high after attending the March Roundup AA Convention Sat night speaker event.
What a fantastic share this woman gave of her story in front of 2500 people! When I listen to these speakers at these conventions, it makes me realize even more on what a miracle it is to have attained recovery from drinking.

Grateful for an overnight getaway to relax with my wife for her birthday. Hotel room, good meals, AA meeting, museum, and a quick trip to the casino. Grateful to just relax a little.
