Grateful my grandson had a nice birthday party in spite of the dust storm, it didn't bother all the kids!

Grateful for a beautiful last day of summer and a walk outside in it.

And grateful for the fried breadfruit with spicy chutney I made today and shared with the ex and my bro. Actually, the chutney largely came from the kirtan I went to last night, but I extended it and added some stuff. Those Hare Krishna folks bring the best food for those events....mmmmm...

Grateful my daughter sent me a pic to my phone of my grandson with him saying "I love you I love you" . Cheered me up.

Grateful some days are just not the best and to let them go.

Grateful to be in my house one year now.

Grateful not to drink.

Grateful for a fulfilling weekend with my wife in Chicago to see our son play in his college football game and to spend some time with him after the game by all three of us going out to dinner.

Grateful my son seems comfortable in his own skin while away at college, which puts me more at ease.

Grateful my wife and I spent the night in a hotel together with just the two of us without any kids sleeping in the room for the first time since before we had kids.

Grateful to see all the exciting varieties of skies in this changing of the season: First a beautiful blue sky with many plump clouds bursting in between the blueness.

Then all of a sudden getting overcast and not seeing any blue in the sky.

Then bursting out into a slightly windy sprinkle to moderate rain followed by peaks of sunshine.

Grateful I love to experience life and these different weather patterns and loving nature for what it is all while being sober.

I love your description, Uncle, and I love skies, too, especially autumn ones and stormy ones!

Sooo grateful my son has taken a different path in life than I did. Grateful I got to see him in an Olympic distance triathlon yesterday. 3rd in his age group, 15th overall. Amazing!

Grateful for a beautiful day today, and for having the time to spend an hour clearing the vegetable patch.

Grateful for free open university "taster" courses, I've learnt a bit about galaxies and planets today.

Grateful that my energy levels are getting better, I seem to be able to accomplish more in the evenings now. The housework is actually being done!

Grateful for courage to attempt an amends even though it didn't end well. I will try again another day.

Grateful I survived my dad's funeral and reception and that all that's done.

And grateful to be sober, from alcohol and other drugs AND from my eating disorders. I have felt so ill lately that it would have been easy to excuse throwing up, but I can't go down that road, even if it doesn't seem like "real" bulimia. It's too triggering. Glad I know that today.

Grateful my dad has peace now...

Love and hugs,
Eddie
