There is so much I can say here after one year of sobriety. Many ups and downs....riding them just becomes a habit. These last couple of months were very strange...it's as if my memory has doubled. I can recall many details of things that were hazy to me for many years and all the emotions that go with them. Drinking every day is soooooooo bad ...it dulls you from feeling anything. Any negative reason you may drink for doesn't go away! Your only pulling a blanket over your self. If and when you stop you will have to deal with life on its terms....why wait? Stop today and decide to be victorious over any thing that may have held you back!!! I'm pulling for anyone struggling in this area!

Very nice post...I'm almost at a year and can relate to the ups and downs, lol. Being sober is much better than getting drunk...it is hard at times but that's life on life's terms I guess. Way to go!

Congrats to all of you and especially you, Doors on your anniversary!!!! I am here and ready to start stringing days together after a 10 year sobriety period. I can tell you one thing - life gets better and better each year. I am annoyed that I am back here at day one and going through all the stuff I didn't miss for all this time... I want to be back where you are!
