I am announcing my 2 year sobriety from alcohol. I became a member of sober recovery in February 2012, and I have maintained sobriety since July 21, 2012. Sober recovery was instrumental in obtaining complete recovery from addiction and I am very grateful for the support and advice to read the Allen Carr book The Easy Way to Quit Drinking. After many years of trying to quit on my own or with AA this book helped me shift my perspective about alcohol. I am currently working towards my bachelors s degree in psychology so I can become a substance abuse counselor. There are many methods of treatment to overcome addiction, and the main factor is to never quit trying.
