Grateful I finished all my GISHWHES items. Now to help my teammates....

And grateful for Supernatural getting so much more enjoyable as the seasons progress. I'm glad I've stuck with it. I like how they have so much more humor than they started with. A lot more humor!

I'm grateful that I was able to walk further in the same amount of time today--I'm getting healthier!
Grateful that I had lost a couple pounds when I weighed!
Grateful for my sweet, sweet hubby who dragged the carpet shampooer around the house all evening.
Grateful to have made it through Day 12!

Rusty that's great!

Grateful we walked from Midtown down through Washington Sq, Soho, the Village and ate lunch in Little Italy. Grateful for the man that walks around with his cat sitting on his head. Lol Grateful for the taxi back as my feet are blistered. Grateful for tea at the Russian Tea Room, Dance at the Lincoln Center and a late snack at a rooftop bar. Grateful my daughter has been bitten by the NYC bug and loves it. Grateful to make memories and not drink.

Grateful we are here to support my Dad through what will be his third back surgery in less than a year come September. And grateful to be supportive and not drink then either.

Grateful for the clarity and maturity sobriety brings.
Grateful at midnight I was 2 1/2 years sober.....

I'm grateful I have 26 days sober.

I'm grateful my husband told me tonight how proud he is of me. Then he quietly mentioned he hasn't had a beer in three days. I didn't even notice since I have been actively trying not to make him feel uncomfortable about his drinking. I just wasn't paying attention so it was a great surprise.

Grateful my wife decided to skip the movies and watch the grandkids instead. Lots of happy faces in our home this morning.

EQ, congratulations on 2 1/2 years of sobriety, that's fabulous.

Grateful for the man who fixed our boiler today, we now have hot water again.

Grateful that we risked letting our foster cat outside for the first time today, and he came back (after an hour), phew!

Grateful for home grown veg, you can't beat a plate of exquisitely steamed beans.

Thank you for the congrats! Really grateful to have these SR people in my life, who understand sobriety accomplishments, like no others do.

Grateful for a long deep nap when I got home.

Grateful my daughter trusts me enough to tell me things that she is pretty sure I won't agree with (and I don't) but knows she won't be judged, and visa versa. It is challenging for sure, but makes our relationship more real.

Grateful to remember I won't agree with anyone 100% of the time, nor them with me. But that, that fact shouldn't stop me from being close with people.

Grateful to have bought the Phantom CD and sing the songs aloud with her as we drove. Lol

Grateful for the peace I feel this evening. Grateful for some more time alone, I think I've needed the peace and quiet.

Grateful to read all of your posts and your gratitude.

That is gorgeous, EQ! Good on you both! And thanks for sharing.

Grateful for an afternoon nap, the first in quite a while, to recuperate from GISHWHES.

And grateful to be materially disentangled from a friend I've been trying to help. She doesn't have anything of mine and I don't have anything of hers, so now when we get together, it will be purely social and not about meeting her material needs. This is a big relief. BIG!

Love and hugs,
Eddie
