Grateful for sober mornings. Those will always be a quiet, happy gift. It still amazes me that I intentionally woke up sick, hung over and full of regret every day for so many years.

Grateful for today, my kids, my life and health.

Grateful for friends, family and the community of SR.

Grateful for a mostly clean emergency room with mostly decent staff.
Grateful that my husband is now in expert hands at a world-class hospital.
Grateful for 3.5 hours sleep and to know I'm fine and that I don't have to drink, don't have to use this as an excuse to drink, and don't want to drink.

Grateful for a good night's sleep between 5pm and midnight so here I am to hear about the freezing weather in Oz when we had 94F. It is what it is, and my life is great but it better be at 82 cause the sand is running out in the hour glass.

I'm off to do a jigsaw puzzle on my puter.

Grateful for the quick wash programme on my washing machine.

Grateful that we have a line in the shed, so I can dry clothes even on a showery day. No need for me to own a dryer.
