Grateful to be up early on this Saturday morning.

Grateful for a huge bowl of porridge. I had to eat some from the saucepan because it wouldn't all fit in my bowl.

Grateful to be buying more paint today to finish off my little study, it's a tiny little room but it will be perfect as my " prayer closet" or reading room. Far enough away from the tv so I don't get drawn in to wasting time watching it just because it's on.

The weather seems to have broken here - I might be joining you in those long johns soon (well, not exactly sharing the same long johns as you - that would be silly and very uncomfortable. And impossible too, since we're so far apart. But maybe wearing long johns at the same time as you are! )

Grateful for the absurd thought of people in England sharing long johns with people in Australia! That's quite a stretchy pair of long johns!

Grateful for people who care and are there.

Grateful for this morning for the sound of the rain softly falling. There's a part of me that was a little bummed because I was planning a long bike ride but the plants really need it. Plus this is such a beautiful, tranquil morning. So for that I'm grateful.
I am grateful I did something yesterday that I didn't feel like doing, that was uncomfortable, that an uncomfortable situation is note done and I feel like I have some closure and can move forward. I am grateful my SO Was there to support me. I am so grateful for him, always.
I am grateful that my friend's little sister, who almost drowned Monday, is OK.
I am grateful for all my notebooks from my trip to Guatemaka last year. Have to sort through them today.grateful for the time time to do so, and some time for reflecting.
I am grateful this morning for a day off, and some quiet time in the am. Have a housemate coming later today, which I am grateful for because too much alone time for me is not so good...but I am grateful for some time this morning to rest and relax and listen to the rain.

Grateful for the space that is maintained between my Partner/wife/best friend and me in our relationship which allows so much freedom of choice in our daily activities.

As we age preparation is underway to prepare one of us for living on our own.

Grateful to finally get it right in the 3rd marriage for both of us.

Grateful to be able to spend time with my Mom at an art fair today. We don't spend any money, but we spend precious time together.

Grateful to have spent the evening home and even though hubby was sleeping, it was nice that we spent the evening "together".

I, too, am grateful for blueberries - they are magnificent this time of year, and I just had a bunch of them in my cheerios.

Grateful for 5 wonderful years at SR. My sobriety is now second nature and while I'll never take it for granted, I do feel that it's a rock-solid part of me now. I simply feel that it's time to move on to other things in life. Thanks for all of you wonderful people that helped me along my journey.

Grateful for another day sober.

I'm personally very grateful for your presence here on SR. You gave me strength and inspiration to be of service to others here and it's helped me. I will miss you and so will many others.

Grateful for this community.
