When I was drinking, I was trying to keep up appearances of being healthy. I was still doing early morning runs. About 2 miles into a run, I always felt the need to puke (go figure). I blamed it on allergies. I found excuses for everything to avoid admitting the real problem.

This morning, I am grateful I was able to watch the sunrise on my early morning run. Didn't even care it was hot and humid. And never felt any urge to puke.
