Grateful.
 

Today, I'm grateful for waking up this morning without a hangover, or feeling sick to my stomach. I'm grateful for having a nice lunch with my mom, laying in the pool on this hot summer day, and going back (after a year) to my second AA meeting where I met and listened to a lot of fascinating stories of those struggling just as much as I am (if not more.) I'm also grateful for finding a sponsor tonight and creating a plan with her for my continuing recovery. And one of the best things I'm grateful for tonight... I laughed out loud. I haven't done that in months. :)
