Hi everyone,
I'm grateful that the check was in the mail today.
And for being clean and straight for twenty months.
And for pork chops.
Hope you are all having a good week.
God bless.

Congratulations Richie. 20 months is a long long time. That's like 600 days of doing the next right thing.
Today I am grateful for sleeping well, my newly remodeled bathroom that turned out better than I imagined and friends who care.
Hope al is well with everybody. I gotta go as usual.

You're welcome, Richie!!

I'm grateful that I finally sent an email to a friend that I actually started last August!! That was just terrible procrastination on my part. But today was her wedding anniversary, so I took the occasion to drop her a little note. I just hope I had the right address.

AND...one of my dahlias is already up!! I'm very glad about that, too. Whoo-hoo!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Thank you for sharing, Sam!! I'm glad to see Al-Anon there on your list .

I'm grateful that I was able to re-schedule my appointment with the trainer to this morning. Now I have to get gone pretty soon to be there on time!

Also grateful for my kitties sleeping with me. They are such a comfort.

Love and hugs,

Richie belated congrats on twenty months sorry I missed it yesterday,

I am grateful for my HP giving me a sense of proportion and making it so obvious that I am powerless over many things.

I am grateful that my boss has faith in me enough to assign me a "project." I'm supposed to work on re-vamping our prescription label format. It's so wonderful to be considered a responsible and productive employee!!

I'm also grateful for actually eating lunch on my lunch hour today. My husband picked me up and we went out to eat, then got coffee, too. It was a very nice change of pace.

Have a great "Friday Eve," everyone!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hey, L, Kevin, and Richie!!

I am grateful for my soft thick hair which I conditioned this morning for the first time in ages. I bought some fancy shampoo yesterday, too, and now I can't stop petting my head. LOL.

And I'm grateful for a really good Friday at work. We had lunch brought in for Cinco de Mayo and we got to go on a "field trip" to see the building we're going to be moving into. And we still got out on time.

Have a great weekend, y'all!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

That's awesome, Kevin!!

I'm grateful for the women in my NA network, especially Jill (who celebrated 5 years tonight), Sharon (who was Jill's speaker and is a sponsee sister), Susan (my great-grandsponsor), Gail (my sponsor), Alesia (also in my sponsorship family), and Kathryn (one of Jill's sponsees). See why they call it a network?

I'm also grateful for getting outside a bit today, filling bird feeders, putting out the hummingbird feeder, getting my Christmas cacti outside, etc. It was a lovely day out and I managed to get a few little things done.

Beddy-bye time!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hi Nogard, Richie and Eddie!

I am grateful today for the ability to hold down a job. I am grateful for the ability to be self supporting. I am grateful for the beautiful weather we are having. I am grateful this morning for SR especially. I feel like I have neglected it a bit since I started working. Anywho, I hope everyone has a really great day.

Hey, Kevin, L, and Richie!!

I am so grateful to have known the T. family. I went to Mike's memorial service yesterday. I saw a lot of people I had not seen in quite a while. It was a beautiful service and brought back many fond memories. I am especially grateful to have been close to Kate. She died in 1982. I am grateful that I can now cry and feel loss without having to squash those feelings with chemicals.

I am also grateful that I had my cat Patsy for eighteen years. Yesterday was one year since she died. I got through that clean, too. I'm glad that I can be thankful for the time I had with people and pets and not get caught up in self-pity. I guess I'm grateful for the Program that taught me these things. It has helped the T. family, too. Apparently, Mike was sober his last 13 years and Kate and Mikes' mom is as well.

Have a great week, everyone!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie
