Hi Richie, Eddie, and Danielle!

I'm grateful for this nice weather that we've had the last few days. I love the feeling of fall air. It is so nice. The leaves are beautiful.
I've been in bed the last few days with a fractured bone in my foot, but I hope it gets much better soon!

Love and hugs,
Cheryl

Thank you, Richie!!

Sorry about your foot, Cheryl!

I am grateful for this new computer, especially the keyboard. And we're getting high-speed internet soon, too!

And I am grateful that one more of my dahlia plants may bloom before the frost comes. One blossom is already partially open.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hi Eddie,Danielle,and Cheryl,
I'm thankful that I was able to get the hardshell guitar case today that my son wants for Christmas. Also for the Golden Corral buffet. Five hours later I am still stuffed!
Easy on that foot,Cheryl.
Eddie and Danielle,if you haven't seen Batman Begins, you should.I watched it last night and it was much better than I expected.
have a great weekend everyone!

I like Christian Bale, so I'll have to check Batman Begins out. Plus I always like your movie tips, Richie.

I am grateful that I actually chaired my home group's Saturday night meeting for the first time last night. I was pretty nervous 'cause it can be one of our area's bigger meetings, but everything went fine.

And I'm grateful for these snuggly fleeece overall I have on. They're just so warm and comfy!

Well, it's meeting time. Have to run now.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Eddie, that is great that you got to chair the meeting!! It must have been exciting!

Richie, that buffet sounds good!

I am trying to take it easy on the foot but it is so hard. I cannot run for another 2 weeks. Uhhhh... I miss it so much!

I am grateful that I had a good day with my family today. I wrote about it in my thread "It's not over yet" on the Newcomers board.
http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...469#post690469

Days like that with my family are few and far between, but when everyone can have a great time together makes it even more special!

I have a big test in the morning . Five chapters to study. I am trying to get myself ready! Hehe!! Now, I am going to get the milk and stuff out of my car.

Glad to hear that everyone is doing well!

Love and hugs,
Cheryl

Hi everyone,

I missed you guys. I was missing a lot of life these past couple months. Thought I was missing something not smoking pot. I was, it's called active addiction. The pot took me straight to the coke. But for the grace of God I didn't go out and smoke crack because I just may be dead. I am grateful that I have 15 days. I am grateful that I have the desire to live life sober. And I am grateful that I know where to find the answers to my questions and solutions other than using. May God bless all of us!

Hey, Cheryl!! Hey, Richie!!

I am grateful again this evening. I am listening to the Donnie Darko soundtrack and enjoying it—beautiful sad music.

Also grateful to see a particular woman pick up a year this morning. It is a true miracle!! Thank HP for NA!!

I am grateful to be able to read and study while being sober. This makes it so much easier and I am sure that I can remember a whole lot more!

Thank you, Richie!

Tonight I am grateful for my cool purple hair color. Too bad it's going to wash out pretty quickly, at least according to the package. It's called "Chilled Plum" and it's by L'Oreal...because I'm worth it! LOL.

And grateful that Agatha kitty slept on the bed with us last night. That is something new for her. We had all three kitties up on the bed. She is upstairs in the bedroom now. Maybe she'll do it again tonight. She is our "power kneader" kitty.

Hope everyone has a great night!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hey Richie, Eddie, Kevin and Cheryl. And anyone I may have missed.

Tonight I am grateful to be back to work and to be on my way to a meeting in a little bit. I'm grateful that I was able to find my way home before I died.

Have a great evening friends!

Hey Richie, Eddie, Sherry and Cheryl et al

This morning I am grateful to be awake/alive going to work, to be reasonably healthy, for my pay today and that the insanity is not unique to me and that has receeded now that I am paying attention.

Hey, y'all!! Tonight I am grateful for starting to get caught up on my service commitment. I really let things go last month when I was studying and working. It feels good to get back into the groove.

I am also grateful for my boss who complimented my hair color today and is just generally a good guy and for my sponsor who called me tonight. I am so fortunate to have these people in my life.

And I am grateful that the heat is working well!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

I am grateful as well that the heat is working. It is freezing outside! Also grateful for something I heard at a meeting tonight. This is in regards to when someone is getting on your last nerve and you're ready to do something stupid. Ask yourself; how important is it? It makes so much sense. I will definately be adding this to my toolbox!
