Some instrumental stuff we made up.After thirty years of smoking I no longer have the capacity to sing anything but Lou Reed songs, although I have been smoke(toke) free for almost a year.
When we figure out how, I'm going to put some of our stuff on the Sober Musicians site.I'll let you know when. It'll probably be a while since my knowledge of such technical things is very limited.
And I'm grateful to be off for a 5 day weekend starting Wednesday.
God bless.

Or Tom Waits, right? LOL. Nothing wrong with most Lou Reed songs, just steer clear of those like Heroin, etc. I still love Transformer!

So, instrumentals, huh? Like surf stuff? Ever listen to Link Wray? RRRROCKIN'!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Tonight I am grateful for getting another job interview for this Thursday. It's at a state psychiatric hospital and I would be a REAL psychiatric pharmacist! So exciting!

Also grateful for all the beautiful Tiger Swallowtail butterflies we've been seeing on our walk. And the hummingbirds, too. Oh, and the Cardinal Flower is blooming there as well.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hey Eddie, there's a book out called WRITE IT DOWN MAKE IT HAPPEN by Harriett A. Klauser and in it she tells us that wiriting things down make it happen...so your interview went well??? but did you get hired???? now you can start writing down anywhere you like that you are for that job, that you were meant for that job and write down the duties too...before you know, you'll be at that job and money begins to flow...anything you want, you can make it real, if you write it down!!! good luck!!!

Thank you muchly, Yoguina!! I may try that. Interesting idea. I won't really know which job I really want until after my interview tomorrow, though, so I think I'll wait to see what I think of that position.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

I went to my parent's today for dinner. They had gotten a cake called strawberry surprise,There were strawberrys(big ones) bake into the cake batter.Needless to say I can hardly move right now.My daughters gave me the 3rd Rock From the Sun box set and a Monty Python T shirt that says "My Brain Hurts".
Good luck tomorrow on your interview.

You're welcome, Richie! And thank you for the good luck wishes, too! "My brain hurts" is one of my favorite Pythonisms. Does the shirt have a picture on it or just the words?

Tonight I am thankful for my therapist and a good session this morning. We talked about how I actually could do some housecleaning if I really wanted to. LOL.

I am also grateful for my PI secretary position. We had a good meeting this evening, too. Gives me alot to do, but I enjoy it.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Thanks, Richie! I'm downloading it now. It'll probably take a while as I'm on a slow dial-up connection.

Grateful that I got to pick up my friend at the psych hospital where I was interviewing today. That was a neat coincidence that he was being released right when I happened to be down there. It made it worth the trip since the interview was probably not. We had a nice trip back together.

And grateful that I'm OK with the interview not going real well since the job was not really what I expected anyway. It turned out to be like working in any other hospital. I wouldn't have actually been doing clinical psychiatric pharmacy like I want to.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Tired but still grateful this evening. Grateful for a very nice day. Not too :e14k . Not too cool.

And grateful for not being H&I secretary anymore and for the woman who replaced me. She did a bang-up job at our meeting tonight! I'm glad I didn't have to take the minutes.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Richie,
I forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed the song! It cut off suddenly though so I don't know if I heard the whole thing or not. Anyway, I loved it! Reminded me of early Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers. Know what I mean? Thank you so much for sharing it with me!!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Thanks,Eddie.I'll send you a copy of the cd when it is released.

Although my vacation is over I am grateful to be going back to work tomorrow.Last year this time I had just been laid off. That, however, led to much better things in my life.
God bless!

You're most welcome, Richie!

Today I am grateful that my husband and went to the Piedmont Area NA convention with another couple last night. I really enjoyed the company and the speaker I heard.

And grateful that I finally joined SoberMusicians. I got the warmest welcome! Thanks again for that too, Richie (and Brookie)!

Love and hugs,
