Today, I am grateful for Recovery in the Rough NA campout that I went to Friday and Saturday. Got to do fun things like swimming AND hear a great speaker Friday night!

I am also grateful for to be home, though, with my husband and my pets and my plants. I came home early in part to take care of my wonderful dahlias, which are thriving (mostly).

Love and hugs,
Eddie

This afternoon I had to share my bowl of ice cream with my cat Spooky. She is a pest and a pain in the neck and I'm grateful that she adopted me twelve years ago.

Don't you know that's bad for their little teeth? My dad used to give Patsy and Loretta ice cream years ago and I always berated him for it. LOL. I also used to have a cat named just plain Spook. Is Spooky black by any chance? Patsy was a pest too in her later months, but dam*, I miss her! I am grateful to have had almost 18 wonderful years with her, though.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hi Eddie,
Spooky is a grey maine coon with yellow eyes. She won't let anybody mess with her except me and my daughters. She won't get in my lap but she follows me everywhere. She was a warehouse cat that I brought home when the place closed down in 94.I only give her vanilla ice cream but she likes to lick ice cream sandwich wrappers too.She said to tell you that you only live nine times so you've got to enjoy life to the fullest.LOL

Hi everyone. Glad to see that everyone is diong well. Today I am grateful that we finally found an apartment, after a few weeks of searching. We will get the keys at noon tomorrow and move in Thursday. I'm also grateful that it is right around the corner from my mom, just in case she needs me.

That sounds great, Sherry!

Today I am BIGTIME grateful! First of all, I have two and a half years clean today!

And second, I FINALLY got the restrictions on my pharmacy license lifted! I can get a job now! Wheeee!

I told my mom yesterday to make a Gratitude List because she constantly complains about how she has so much "on her." She asked me today about it so it may actually have sunk in! LOL.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hey, Richie! And thanks!

We DID have a great time and I AM grateful for the wonderful people from SR I got to meet this weekend! I want to post some more pix, but I need to ask the people first.

And grateful that my first dahlia is now open! I posted a picture of it on the Gardening thread. It is beautiful!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Didn't make it on here to post last night, so this morning I am grateful that my last dahlia, the Midnight Moon, did finally come up yesterday!

I am also grateful that I got to spend most of my husband's birthday with him even though we were working alot of the time. We did get to watch a movie together last night, though.

Have a great day, everyone!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Hawaii

Grateful this evening that my dahlias are blooming! The Japanese beetles, unfortunately, are grateful, too. LOL. I sprayed for bugs today, but then it rained HEAVILY so I have to do it over, I guess. It's all very new and exciting for me, though.

Grateful, so very grateful, that when I took my husband's border collie to the vet this morning, they didn't find anything terribly wrong right off the bat. I don't think I could take losing another pet so soon after Patsy and I don't know what it would do to my husband. So I'm very glad that Dusty is probably OK.

Have a fantastic holiday weekend, y'all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

congrats on 10 months Richie! AWESOME!!

Tonight I'm grateful for my job. Things have been rocky and I didn't even know if I still had a job today but I found out that everything is ok. It is good that I am finally starting to feel a little bit better. I still am having so many problems with concentration and memory but I know that it will get better.

Many hugs being sent out--
Love,
C

I'm glad things are OK with your job, C!! And that you are feeling better, too! You rock, girl!

I am grateful tonight for a nice day at Watauga Lake. I got to play pool against my dad which was kind of neat. I even beat him! Plus I got to go swimming and eat way too much. LOL.

I am also grateful that our border collie, Dusty, seems to be pretty much OK. We got some special food for him and he finally ate something. Yea!

Love and hugs,
Eddie
