Bedtime Gratitude Prayer

Tonights prayer is that I remain safe even though my addicted uncle is staying with us temporarily. I pray that he does not use around me, or offer me anything. I pray that God watches over Eddie, Dani, Richie, and Godswill for yet another 24 hours.
Hey Sam, are you out there? You are still in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to hear from you soon. We miss you.

Tonight I am grateful for the ability to read and study for school since I never was able to before. I am grateful that my husband is back from his sponsorship retreat. And I am grateful that I can still jog (sort of) for exercise, that my knees have not given out on me.

Tonight I am grateful for another 24 hours. I am grateful that my uncle will only be here 1 more week. I'm grateful for all the friends I have here at SR and in the rooms of both AA and NA. Mey God watch over all of us.

Tonight, I'm grateful for another peacful rest in my new apartment (3rd night and LOVING it there!) Tonight I hope that God watches over Eddie, Richie, and Sherry--especially with the situation concerning her uncle. I also hope that God keeps him safe and hopefully one day he may overcome his suffering. I'm also grateful that Eddie was able to see her friend play without sacrificing her sobriety---it DOES get easier, huh?

Tonight I will thank God for getting me through another sober day and for all of my lessons learned today.
I am so grateful for my life, future, dreams, friends, a roof over my head, transportation, a job and faith, hope, and courage. I'm also grateful for SR.

Welcome to the thread Jalyn and Hope. Tonight my prayers are thanking God for keeping me safe through these 24 hours. I pray that all of my friends here are safe also. Thank you for putting all these wonderful people in my life. SR has been a wonderful tool for me, and I want to express my appreciation to Jon for starting such a wonderful site.

Tonight, as I lay my head to rest, I'm thankful for another day of sobriety. I'm also thankful for the wonderful people who help keep me that way both here at SR and in the rooms of AA.
I hope that Richie's computer doesn't send him spiraling into a pit of despair (JK!)
Tonight, I'm going to attend a new meeting. Sounds like it should be held in an "interesting" place. We shall see. But, I pray that I gain a lot of insight (as I most always do) at this new meeting, with new faces.

Today I am grateful for....
The wonderful sober life I have, with its ups and downs. I am grateful I got to stay sober another day with the help of the program and my Higher Power. I am grateful that I have a warm bed to sleep in tonight. I am grateful for my health. I am grateful for the ability to laugh at myself today and not take myself so seriously.

My bedtime prayer is that my teeth will stop hurting. :toothache I had to go to the dentist today. It took 5 shots of novacaine to numb me. Geuss that's what happens when you abuse drugs for so long. I am grateful, however, that I only have to lose 1 tooth. I had a lot of cavities, but he can save all but one!
I am grateful for another 24 hours. I am grateful to have a good relationship with my family. I am grateful that I have found a new way of life!

Danielle, a belated congrats on your new abode! How did that new meeting go, too?
Richie, I'm a thirty-something lobotomy!
I am so grateful that I made time to carve a jack-o-lantern this year; it turned out pretty cool. Maybe I'll put up a picture of it.
I'm also very grateful that I had an unexpectedly pleasant conversation with my pharmacist advocate and that he actually called me!

Hey Eddie, Richie, Dani, Hope, Jalyn, and Karen! Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween. I went to an AA dance. What a great time! I never knew I could have so much fun dancing, without drugs or alcohol!
My bedtime gratitude prayer is that I have 6 months today. Very grateful that God has been so good to me.
I also want to say a prayer for Sam. It's been awhile since we heard from her and I sure hope everything is ok.
