Morning Gratitude ~ Part 42
Grateful for understanding steps 1,2 and 3, of the 12 step programme.
Grateful for the step 3 prayer, it brought tears to my eyes when I first read it.
Grateful for another beautiful, sober day. I hope I don't ever take it for granted.

Grateful but sad to be thinking of my Dad on his birthday today. He would have been 98!
Grateful to have had him as a wonderful father and excellent role-model
Grateful to my lovely sister who is also thinking of him

I am grateful this thread popped up first on my app... Haven't posted in a while and it's exactly what I needed!
Grateful for getting to watch my son grow up last day of middle school yesterday).
Grateful for my partner and her continued, completely undying support.

Grateful for a new day - waking up sober (even when tired) is great.
Grateful to have finally crossed a work related task off my list that I have been avoiding.
Grateful that my husband is back home and ok.

Grateful to wake up this morning feeling alright! Two weeks without a drink yesterday.
Grateful for this forum, and everyone's posts in this thread. Thanks!
Grateful to have found the marijuana anonymous website, where there are even online meetings..also yesterday worked on Step 1 and Step 2...grateful for the understanding that my life has become unmanageable not just because of drinking, but ALL drugs, including ones I used to consider benign...
Grateful for my higher power, to whom I'm turning it over to today...

Grateful for the little things that make a big difference in my life.
Grateful I'm starting some laundry early, as it threatens to be very hot here today.
Grateful for the gratitude threads. No matter how I'm feeling, I can always find something to be grateful for. I have to, and it's there. If nothing else, reading everyones posts give me inspiration.

Grateful for to do lists and the ability to prioritize.
Grateful to have slept in till ten on my day off. I never do such a thing but I was up two hours in the middle of the night. . What a difference a lot of sleep makes to my body and mind.
Grateful to have an invite to a barbecue friday night and that they will be there late till whenever I get there..... as I may not arrive till seven or later. I miss a lot of things due to my work hours and I am glad I won't miss this.
Grateful for my time alone.

nogard so sorry to hear of a second passing, sometimes that's the way of life.
Grateful to have a sober realisation this morning -- my upbeat outlook has been down for a few days and I've been telling myself to get my act together. I have just realised we are two weeks from the shortest day which always affects me and I've been carrying an extra load for two weeks since my husband's minor heart attack. No wonder I feel a bit down.
Grateful for the sobriety which brought me to the above realisation.
Grateful that the solution is in a restful slightly self-indulgent weekend and not a bottle.

Married to the same lovely Lady for 35 years.
Welcome to the every day miracle, and thank you Venuscat for the cookies and coffee on the 24 hour thread.
