I'm grateful for my sobriety
 

I'm grateful that I rise to meet another day secure in my belief in a higher power. I'm grateful for 23 years of marriage and 2 teenage kids who love and adore me. I am grateful for my life today and the fact that I will be sober.

I am grateful to live in Japan, being sober a little less than 3 months, and having a good wife and children.

Thanks for the inspiration. I am grateful for my sobriety. With all the bad days, poor decisions, and just random life I couldn't ask for anything better.

I'm also so grateful for my sobriety today. Sometimes it's tough feeling all these emotions, anxiety...but right now I feel really good knowing I didn't drink today. I won't be hungover tomorrow...so I can keep this positive momentum going. I didn't smoke pot today...even though I could have, and no one would have cared. But I didn't, because I made a promise to myself when I woke up I would stay sober all day today, and learn how to actually handle emotions and feelings...I also asked my Higher Power for help with this. This whole no pot thing was huge for me today...I am so grateful I didn;t cloud my consciousness or detach from my feelings today...Did a lot of recovery reading and writing today...Sending positive thoughts to everyone of mutual support!
