Thank you God for prayer. A good friend's Daughter is in a Coma from a drug overdose.
Friends and family are all praying she will pull through as she is so young and has a whole life ahead of her. Her name is Carrie and I know God in is wisdom will be there for her and hope her life will be spared. Ipanema

Thank you God for my recovery which allows me to pray that Carrie will walk the path that you have made available to her. I have prayed for many in her status. Some end their human experience and some come back hopefully to recovery.

Thank you God for a husband that said he is going to try harder this time around. What more can one ask?

And to EQ and Ipanema - I went further back and read some of the posts here from the past week. EQ - my heart aches for those experiences, as those are tough feelings to deal with. I, too, have felt alone, but we are never alone. I know I cannot shelter myself from family gatherings, weddings, holidays, etc, because of alcohol. Those are the true joys of life, but I also have to accept that others are drinking, and as it was put - us being there sober may open another's eyes that they, too, want to be there. Ipanema - what a wonderful post to EQ. You nailed it, and you made many of us others think as well. Love to both of you and everyone here!
