grateful yet another long sober weekend has come to an end,

and more grateful for a semi-rested mind during the chaos

Grateful I have been procrastinating less.

Grateful the dog is groomed and sweet smelling, with a short summer haircut.

Grateful to have a weekend to myself to focus on my home, where there is painting and wallpaper removal underway. Grateful for nesting.

Grateful to start the day off by getting out and going to church and out to lunch.

Grateful to then get out and see the movie "Draft Day."

Grateful to then get my once weekly cardio/weights workout in to relieve some of the stress and anxiety.

Grateful for a warm shower and then stretching my whole body out on the floor to relieve stress, anxiety, tightness and promote a sense of well being.

Grateful for a pretty busy schedule next week. Grateful it's getting me out when I'm in the mood to hibernate.

Grateful to be sober another day. Grateful to be in a position to help my mom out.

"After all," Anne had said to Marilla once, "I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."
Grateful for one of those days.

Grateful for this Marcher. ♥
And grateful for Ann of Green Gables; how I loved to read those books when I was 12.

Nite all,

Love V xx

Grateful after work i met my accountant and grateful he is paid tonight and my taxes are filed. What a relief!

Grateful I went out, after the accountant meeting, to buy more flowers to pot, and a total stranger who was behind me in line, who didn't even work at the store, carried the flowers to my car. Everyone is so nice in my town.

Grateful this town is slowly softening my defenses and opening my heart.

Grateful to know I won't wake up in the morning regretting today.

Grateful that I found joy in going to the gym instead of the liquor store.

Grateful for my family
