Today's Gratitude
 

Today my gratitude is placed on so many special things. Today, I am able to make myself available for those that I love. I can attend special ceremonies and visit with people that I once avoided because I didn't want them to know I was high. Today I am accomplishing things I would have never accomplished if I were still using. Today I wake up and am able to appreciate birds chirping, children laughing and the wonderful scents of nature. Most of all, I am grateful that I am as alive as I feel.

I'm grateful for the snow and the sun, for the food I've eaten and the company I'm keeping. I'm grateful today that I wake up and say "Good Morning God!" instead of "Good God, it's morning!" - I'm full of life today - and I'm thankful!!
