Semi clear headed again
I am Very gratefull today on day 8 to be sober in a environment full of every substance known to man.
I am grateful to be feeling the pains that I used alcohol to blot out.
I am grateful to be hopeful of the future again
I am grateful to have shoes to wear
I am grateful to have shelter that is paid for
I am grateful for God's protection during the last year in a half in a very rough and violent neighborhood
I am grateful to have food to eat
I am grateful to have the SoberRecovery community to give a solid sense of belonging.
I am grateful I did not physically attack my disrespectful loud upstairs neighbor
I am grateful my phone did not get turned off today. Phew what a relief
