Today, Day 12 of sobriety
Today I am grateful for voices playing and laughing upstairs as our Christmas break comes to an end.
I am grateful for a boss that allows me to work from home every once in a while.
I am grateful for a beautiful morning, even though it is 11 degrees outside.

Dear SoberChristmas: Many Congratulations to you....Its just the beginning of a wonderful life for you and keep coming back to SR...the things that I read hear everyday give me new tools (or old ones I'd forgotten) to make it a better day than it already is. Before, for me, it was to make it through the day and not enjoying much of it..It's easier here where you will have many friends offering support..Ipanema

I am right behind you with 11 days today & this site has been a "huge" source of support to me - connection to others who are striving for the same thing....life without alcohol. Keep posting here & "take it easy"

Wow, here it is. It has been 2 weeks today since I hit bottom. I made a FOOL out of myself in front of family, friends and my kids! I am so happy to say this is also day 14 of sobriety! Never will I do that again!
