Yes, kate1724, we are fortunate that things could have been much worse when we first got sober...just to have your children and grandchildren in your life is amazing. Although they(my daughters) do still refer to my drinking from time to time, just to let me know I am not all that great, I let it wash over me. People, places and things...we cannot control, and won't let us ponder how to solve these issues...prayer to my Higher Power can provide such clarity and relief....
