It's been a while
It's been a long time and I'm sure most of you don't even remember me, but I'm grateful for these forums and you fine folks that helped me get through some really tough times.
I am happy to say, LIFE IS GOOD!
I just recently refinanced my house to get the ex off the mortgage and the deed. I am officially financially unbound from that mess of a man. I'll always be somewhat bound to him due to the fact that we have a child, but I no longer worry about what he does, how much he drinks, what woman he's messing around with, if he'll lose his job, how I'll pay the bills......
I look back on occassion to my old posts to remind me how far I've come. So thank you all!

If you search all my posts, it's a pretty messed up tale of woe. Just want everyone to know that if you keep at it and start caring for yourself more than the sick people in your life, things do get exponentially better. It's a whole lot of baby steps.
I still have an obsession to have to fix things and take care of things, but I now channel that into animal rescue instead of people rescue.
