Naturally grateful for....
To Jaynie04,
Yes we can be called codependent but I think it's more just love of our animals. My little girl cat Tixie falls asleep on my keyboard and I try to maneuver underneath and out without disturbing her sleeping. She looks so happy and peaceful.....so just sayin' as they say now...

Naturally grateful for the grey heron flying on the lake again today
And for the partially iced lake, like frosting.
The ducks are still huddled in a line on the lake... .I hope they're not stuck to it!

Naturally grateful for the warm hues of dusk reflected on the water, snow and ice.
Naturally grateful for the way the reflective white light of snow makes everything seem expansive and hopeful.
Maybe that's why God gave us snow in the wintertime.

Naturally grateful for beautiful rhythmic patterns in the snow drifts, similar to little sand dunes.
Naturally grateful for large areas of the lake being iced over. I love winter scenes and all the naked trees.

Naturally grateful for the geese honking and ducks quacking. Especially because there is this one duck that honks differently and sounds just like daffy duck. It is so funny!
Naturally grateful for seeing a big red fox trot across the edge of my lawn today in broad daylight right next to the bank of the lake. I couldn't believe my eyes.
And when I walked to the dock we saw three big grey herons.
