Back on the sober side, for now.....
Have been back to drinking 10 -12 oz of Vodka and 2 large glasses of red wine a night since Jan. 2013 and have made a decision to try again to change. One of our most powerful traits as humans, self awareness. The power to change!

So happy you're back Haddad68. You are not alone when you say you will try again..many of us tried many times to quit. I myself had 2 slips and then stayed sober after that...it's a disease and not a character defect but can be reserved over time with abstinence (of course), the support of family and friends, AND from people like this Sober Website who want to help with how to stay sober. Keep up the great work, Haddad68 and don't look back. It's a new day and wonderful when you are not drinking. God Bless. Ipanema
