Acheleus

I am grateful for my car, my health, my little apartment, my relationship with my father, my opportunity to go to school and teach, and for the many nice people I have met on SR and in AA. I am also grateful for the times I have picked myself up after a slip or a binge after a period of sobriety--I am glad I have not given up on myself.

Sometimes I just complain about all the things I do not have, when I should focus on the things that are good in my life.
