Almost happy to be sick...
Today I'm grateful because I don't need to drink.
Went to the doctor this morning because I thought I had the flu again (the perils of call center work).
Luckily it's not the flu, likely a cold. If I got this news last year, my first thought would be "hurray, no antibiotics means I can drink, and surely the alcohol will kill the cold."
Honestly, I would have rationalized drinking on antibiotics too, that the alcohol would somehow help the drugs by killing weaker flu cells. Literally sick thinking from a sick person.
Today I thought hurray I don't have the flu, AND I don't have to rationalize drinking, because I have no urge to ever put myself through that again. Life is hard enough already lol.
Now if I could just stop smoking...
