I am grateful for:
-A deeper relationship with and faith in God
-Reconciling with my siblings
-The strength to stay away from negative people
-Employment, and having shelter, nutritional food to eat
-Finally returning to graduate school to finish my degree next month
-A loving partner who treats me with respect and compassion, who showers me with affection, who demonstrates his appreciation for me everyday, in all the ways my XABF never did, and who has been receptive and patient and kind towards me, allowing me to speak my mind freely, especially when painful memories of the traumatic verbal/physical abuse I endured from my XABF start creeping back into my mind
