Grateful I let myself have a few hours to get through my angry feelings that were getting in my way.
Grateful I have trusted people to vent to who also provide good support and feedback when asked.
Grateful to shake it off.
Grateful for some next steps to follow.
Grateful to take one step at a time.
Grateful I am lightyears from where I was... and all from baby steps.

Grateful for doing what I can to help my mom and brother and letting go, again and again, of trying to make them do things differently. This dysfunction has gone on almost fifty years; there is little I can do to change it.

And grateful last night's equine therapy group with my long-time therapist, his wife, and two other clients wasn't as awkward or uncomfortable as I feared. Plus they had two kittens a few a months old in the barn. That would have made up for it if I had had a difficult time.

Love and hugs,

That is good news Rusty, phew!

Grateful and incredulous (if inspections /appraisals go well) that my settlement date for buying and selling will be on the same date at the end of August.
And BEYOND grateful that will be just a few weeks past my 18 months sober Anniversary.
I wish I could covey to you how unbelievable that is. How did this all happen???!!

I'm grateful for a relatively productive and completely sober day.
I'm grateful that a trip to the laundromat turned out to be quite pleasant.
I'm grateful that I was able to push this quilt to the next step.
I'm grateful that tomorrow doesn't look too stressful!
I'm grateful for SR and all the support I find here.

Grateful that the doctor released my Dad to drive, and my brother has agreed to turn over Dad's truck. Grateful the family war is over for a little while. Too much drama.

Grateful home inspection is Monday. The sooner I know the outcome the better.
Grateful to just sit for awhile.
Grateful to be back to feeling less afraid and more determined again.

I'm grateful for a pleasant sober day. I'm grateful I could spend a little money without too much worry. I'm grateful to go to bed even though I will have to get up early to complete what I need to--at least I will not be hungover.

Grateful for SR.

Grateful for the warm, soft kitty purring in my lap and grateful she decided to jump up so I could post and I didn't have to be the one to move her. (Though she probably read my mind!)

SO grateful that my friends are okay who were involved with a sudden wildfire today that jumped to 500 acres in a few hours. One friend was at the site of the fire when it started, the other was able to get out with her four cats before she had to be evacuated. Scary!

Grateful that after a week of crippling anxiety, depression and feelings of insanity I have been feeling more sane and calm the past two days and was finally able to leave and go to town. I am withdrawing from my antidepressant and it has been mental torment. Every moment of sanity is a blessing!

Grateful I got to see my counselor yesterday. We get along and actually laugh in my appointments. I needed help yesterday.

Grateful I could go out and buy groceries! That's a double gratitude, I got to LEAVE and I could afford the groceries!

Grateful I got some much needed work done.

Grateful for suboxone. Even though there's so much controversy over it and I sometimes take on other people's judgments and feel guilty and bad--I still know that it is saving my life and my recovery.

Grateful I can still feel grateful while my mind is still imprisoned by the anxiety, depression, insanity. It helps.

Grateful for SR!

=^o^=

Glad to hear they're OK, this is another scary wildfire season.

Grateful for our wilderness firefighters.

Thanks! I just found out today that they got it contained at 500 acres with only one home lost which was empty. Still, it was frightening how quickly it jumped.

I, too, am grateful for all the firefighters, volunteers, all who went in and helped to give this a much more positive outcome!
