Grateful that Lyoness' friends are all OK
Grateful for the firefighters, and grateful they, too are safe.

Grateful I can set boundaries today...at least sometimes.

And grateful I have recently "discovered" my sun porch. I can sit in the rocker under the ceiling fan with the kitties in the windowsills and hear the summer night outside WITHOUT mosquitos!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for an awesome service at Unity this morning. I felt like I'd been to an Anorexics & Bulimics Anonymous meeting; the minister was talking about spiritual hunger and spiritual "meat." So glad I was guided to that fellowship.

And grateful for being open to watching a BRITISH crime show (other than Sherlock) as all the ones I've followed (other than Sherlock, teehee) are American. I let the ex introduce me to Luther and I liked it pretty well. Next thing you know, I'll be watching the original Prime Suspect and old Inspector Morse episodes!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful Rusty is alive and kicking.
Gratefull my brother in law helped me with some repairs today.
Grateful my sister trusted me to lean on today and that I could trust myself to be there.
Grateful to learn from noticing some automatic reactions of myself and at least want to change them.
Grateful that although every area of my life is up for change in the next six weeks that I know it will eventually all be decided.
Grateful sobriety is NOT up for change!!!

Went off Weight Watchers 3 years ago when I got laid off and gradually put on 50lbs. Grateful I can start over today on a different diet.

Grateful I recovered from another real estate blind sider I got this morning.
Grateful I eventually cried, got needy, and then problem solved again.
Grateful I want to be stronger and more mature and grateful I know I can be if I just try to!
Grateful for support from loved ones.
Grateful to have a little empathy for myself in that I can see why it took me so long to face all of this. It is so non step stressful. Very grateful I am far enough in, now, that I ain't turnin back now!
Grateful although I keep wandering back into crazytown when I am stressed, I no longer live there.
Grateful I don't drink.

Can I have some of that? I have been waiting and waiting...

Grateful for deciding to at least try to skate this morning when I thought I might be too dizzy. I did fine once I got going. Glad I'm not the nay-sayer I used to be.

And grateful for the thought that my oldest kitty, Remy, may need some Prozac or something similar. He's just not a happy camper and has even become skittish with ME lately. It helped our border collie a lot, so I'm going to talk to the vet. Maybe Remy will even let me sleep!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for my kids helping me today

Making amends long overdue
The butterfly that nearly landed on me when I was doing that

My dog who is getting old loves me

That I have summers off

That my kids are healthy, safe and becoming good young adults!

Grateful I woke up feeling calm, sane and more functional today, more clearheaded. It has been a rough ride these past weeks getting of this antidepressant and every sane, calm moment, or day, is a much needed blessing!

Grateful I got some much needed chores done today. Still have more to do but made a dent which makes me feel like I can get to the rest.

Grateful that I was able to help someone today, that what I said made a difference. Being able to help is the most important thing to me, it's such a gift if I can. (I'm still working on believing it when people say that I was helpful. One thing at a time....)

Grateful for a gorgeous, glorious full moon rising above the hills, all gold and huge.

Grateful it was a little cooler today, every degree helps.

Grateful for Star Trek TNG reruns. It's so fun to watch them again.

=^o^=
