EQ... congrats on your contract agreement

Grateful today for husband making his first homemade pizza. Was like eating a heavy, doughy brick But pretty tasty!

Grateful for my raspberry leaf tea that helped my PMS! This stuff really works.

Grateful to be going to bed soon, I only got 4.5 hours of sleep last night...

Thank EQ that means a lot to me.. And congrats on your house find..

Uncle ~ yes two months and I get to have the illusive year coin, but next month I have my first lead.. Yikkes..

Zip ~ long day here to bud..

Grateful that after a 16 hour day/night, I made it home and remembered to come here before I eyes shut down..

Grateful to have the day off to rest the bones... But even more so, that I am more than happy to go back to work tomorrow.. Because I really like my job.. I haven't been able to say that for many years..

Grateful I was on my first Anorexics & Bulimics Anonymous phone meeting since LAST Sunday and that I did NOT feel compelled to jump in and chair even after it was almost ten minutes late. My poor throat couldn't handle all the reading involved, so I kept asking others to lead and read and someone eventually took over. Glad I can ask for help today...repeatedly if need be.

And grateful for taking more time to play with and love on my kitties, especially Remy. The Prozac is not agreeing with his tummy or his energy level. I hope it gets better or we may have to try something else??

Grateful my son and I had some time together over the weekend. Just us. Fishing, camping, talking. I'm trying not to get too choked up about him leaving for college.

EQ, hope your new place works out.

HD, glad you like your new job.

Grateful when I brushed my teeth this morning and got angry that one of my kids left facial hair all over the sink from shaving, that I then just swished it down the sink myself and didn't say anything. I then said to myself: UH, you can make this either a bad day or a good day. And I'm really tired of bad days lately.

Grateful I then drove my butt to an AA meeting.

Grateful to put on the car radio and hear the Joni Mitchell song "Help Me" and cranked up the volume.

Grateful for getting out of the house and treating myself to the movie "Blue Jasmine."

Grateful for a quiet day off of chores and household shopping, a snooze this afternoon and the arrival of my fave magazine.
Grateful for a warm bed on this cold windy night.
Grateful that simple pleasures offer so much contentment.

Grateful that we were on the pbone when my boss told me, that if I wanted off for my second settlement date in end of September I would have to find my own coverage, Because that way I couldn't punch her in the nose.

Grateful to take one day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time, when overwhelmed.

Grateful to help others and not focus on myself all the time.

Grateful for getting my ex to take me grocery shopping. Glad I told him that if he wants me to ask for what I want, I need to him to feel free to say no without apologies. He has a tendency to turn simple requests into urgent demands and sometimes I've avoided asking him to do things because of these reactions.

And grateful for Remy-cat seeming to feel better...'bout time!

Grateful that, as I turned into our street to come home this evening, I saw the full moon hanging in the eastern sky which was reflecting the pink windy sunset.
Grateful for the apples that a generous customer brought from her orchard.
Grateful that when a difficulty occurred today I spoke measuredly and kindly about my needs instead of acting like a deranged woman.

Grateful that a customer recommended an herbal remedy for my joint pain. Anything is worth trying at this point.
