Today I am grateful for the SR Website because....
I Am Grateful For My Family and Friends
Grateful for my Doctors who provide support and guidance for my Peripheral Neuropathy.
I am Grateful that I have the resources to lead a somewhat normal life and often without pain.
I am Grateful for the anger I feel about my illness because it inspires me to do everything I can as far as diet and exercise to try to arrest Neuropathy.
I am Grateful to my Higher Power and the meetings and steps to be able to live life, even sometimes in joy, instead of the fear of the feature. Pity parties have little value. Things could always be worse.
I am Grateful for family and frineds who I see often, that share their own challenges and inspire me to be grateful for what I have and not what I don't have.
I am Grateful for my crochet projects I can do to make Christmas presents this year because of money being tight. Amazingly I have been given yarn or found great thriftstore bargains, which I believe come essentially from my HP. He always comes thru for me.

I'm grateful to SR for reminding me "progress not perfection" even though I haven't reached any sort of pinnacle, I can see the progress I have made over the years. Even when I left SR, there was no shame in returning.
I am Grateful that I wake up with a sound mind (after coffee!) and have my HP to guide me thru the day.
I am Grateful for Meetings and especially this SR site where I can a just pop in and get centered as to my primary purpose. That purpose is to stay sober and help others to achieve sobriety.
I am Grateful that I am able to, to the best of my ability, live my life with Integrity. At the end of the day I have learned from others that it is the easier, softer way.
God Bless All Of You Posting On This Site!!

Well raja I hope you don't allow one person"s feedback undo your motivation or commitment. Does that one person on one side really outweigh all the support plus your growth on the other?
Your sobriety is worth much more than what any one person thinks, says or does.
Here, as in our real life outside SR, there will be people who discourage our sobriety. It is bound to happen. Our sobriety and our self worth will never be 100% supported by others. But it can be supported 100% by ourselves.
With or without SR, keep supporting yourself. Be your own top cheerleader! Take sobriety seriously but don't take everyone else as seriously. What others think about us has much more to do with their own issues than it does our own. How we handle it makes the difference and is the parrt we can control.
You are always welcome at SR. Now and later.
Grateful for SR because interacting with others promotes my personal growth.

To Raja, I hope you will change your mind about leaving SR. I am new but the love here is very honest and true, from what I have seen. I know I believe in Principals Before Personalities because I see it work in my life and others. My hope for you is that you keep the 99% of positive feedback (my guess) and perhaps the other opinion from someone will fade away over time...maybe enjoy the good stuff here..For me, I can't but we can. God Bless.
