Grateful to have finally slept straight through the night after two days of not being able to sleep.
Grateful that this is a new day and a new week to start fresh.
Grateful the dog is out of the boarding and back home, driving me mad again.
Grateful I could be there for someone who had horrible news delivered to them last night.
Grateful my realtor is having an open house for my house in two weeks, even if it is on my birthday.
Grateful my work partner who was away all last week is back today..

My dog just came home from boarding also and is sitting beside me while I listen to Phil Collins, as I escape for a bit before jumping into what I know will be a crazy day at work.

So grateful to be able to experience serenity and those moments of peacefulness! So grateful for our dog...truly man's (and woman's!) best friend. It's amazing how his presence so positively affects our (somewhat dysfunctional) family.
