I have overdosed many times, the last being about a month ago. I am an IV heroin user and have lost many, many friends over the years. When all that Fentanyl cut heroin was around about 5-6 years ago, I lost 4 people in one year!! I (and everyone else I know) always think I am too smart to die of an overdose but many times had it not been for 911 and the narcan they give me, I would be in the ground also. Truly grateful for being alive today. Thank you.
