Amazing friends

I am so so blessed. We have a big group of friends with lots and lots of children and we get together once a month or so for a cuisine night (different nationality each time. Some of our friends don't drink at all and others enjoy a few drinks (not alcoholically.). Anyway, they all know my struggles and that I am new in recovery again and at the Italian night on Saturday, there was not a single drop of alcohol (because I was gojng to be there. ). I would never ask anyone to do this
But I am so blessed to have these friends in my life.

Just thought I'd share how grateful I am. Of course I still struggle every day with wanting to use but at least I don't have it in my face.

And. They all still like and accept me regardless of how I have been the last 12 months.

Same here. It helps when people you are close to can understand and forgive. I've been pretty fortunate with that..

I'm grateful for my husband.
