I am grateful...
 

I am grateful for my 64 days of sobriety and all the good things that have and that are starting to come with it. Clearer mind, patience, the ability to mourn my Mums death respectfully instead of sloppy drunk, the quality of the time I'm getting to spend with my wife and children, that my friends that do drink have gotten the idea that I don't drink anymore and have stopped offering me drinks when at social gatherings.

I haven't been here in a while and I don't know why that is, but I am grateful for this place on the Internet as well! Thank you all.

Congrats on 64 days!! I'm on day 34 myself. It does feel so much better not waking up sick and hating myself!!!

II am grateful

1. For my sobriety
2. For my dog who gets me out walking and keeps me in shape.
3. For the discipline to meditate daily.
4. For my boyfriend who has never given up on me.
5. For a comfortable place to sleep.
6. For my father who is so understanding.
7. For my higher power who has given me the power to make the choice to not drink.
8. For another chance at a new life.

Those are all wonderful things JBird. Keep up the great work!
