Quietly Hit Two Years... ...in February. I realized nothing was so bad a drink couldn't make worse. I went through some very difficult times in my life during my second year. I used to call these excuses to drink over and believed I was "special" so needed to drink. I've learned others call this life. I'm learning to live life, accept life, and continue to always try to do the next best thing even when faced with two choices with negative outcomes...others have to deal with that too. My reputation and hard work have helped the truth be revealed to others in due time. I'm alive, and life is what I have and for that I'm grateful. I didn't have to drink today and for that I'm thankful. Thank you SR for helping me through those very difficult months early on. Newcomers: keep after it. Don't drink/use right now - at this moment- and you've made it through this moment. Soon you'll be there for other newcomers with a successful moment in your pocket. |
I want to quietly thank you for the post, and say congratulations on the two years. I'm grateful for the message. |
