Grateful for my son who's making me crazy but whom I love.

I am grateful for having spent 4 years in Washington when I was in the service so this "dreary" weather is great instead of a let down. All the windows ar open, birds chirping an the sound of a light rain pittering down.

Grateful for three hard hours working outside.
Grateful the arborists are now here to remove the bamboo. The bamboo men have pulled a chipper the size of a city bus into my driveway. The guys are chainsawing.I can't watch. Bt its loud from inside the house with the window air on. I sure hope this works!
Grateful I do not drink. Because I sure would be.

Grateful I am sore. It means I am trying.
Grateful it is casual jeans Friday.
Grateful for a three day weekend.
Grateful my nephew, who is a high school sophmore, was pulled to start in Varsity baseball playoffs and hit a grand slam, to win the game!
Grateful for baseball season.

Grateful that a day of being legitimately sick is so much better than the days of self-inflicted hangovers!

I am grateful to my sobriety because I could get up at 6. a.m. on Saturday, have coffee, chat with my SR mates, do early shopping for groceries, and enjoy sunny morning and great mood.
And I am constantly grateful to SR - no way I could do this journey that far without my friends here.

Grateful for a good nights sleep. Grateful for my little dog Jax who has brighten up my life so much♥ Grateful I quit smoking January 1st, I think it has helped with my sobriety this time around. Grateful I do not have the hard craving I had last year. Grateful my husband has slowed his drinking down (not that he drank like me).
