I´m grateful for...

I woke up sober this morning, taking the dessision to stay sober this day.
I am thankful for the life i have today as a person who now after almost 34 years are starting to know himself for the first time ever.

Im greatful for just 2day. To try to be the best i can be, to do the best I can. To appreciate every moment, good or bad.To know i cant fix everything, or everyone. To hold true to my own beliefs,my program for my recovery. To know I truly deserve what im seeking to be. 2 know I finally love myself. yes, and put myself 1st in my recovery. I need to be the best for me 1st, then i again can start giving back. Im thankful for this site, and all the support. Glad for my screwed up family too. No 1 is perfect, and we r still trying 2 work things out. At least I still have a family to hold onto. Some folks here dont even have that. Today Im greatful for these things, and so much more.

I am so grateful I can scratch an itch. I was paralyzed in a nursing home about 1 yr 5 months ago. Fully restored today!
Thank you Lord!:You_Rock_ And you are my Rock!

Yes thank you Jesus! The Lord delivers ALL who cry out in prayer to his good name. Just seek and you shall find. Ask in good faith and it will be delivered. This I know. Keep the faith, you will prevail. I love my God and know anything is possible with him in my life. I wish the same for anyone else here. Whatever your higher power might be.

Amen Raja, Our families, what a blessing that they hung in there! Now that's some mercy and grace right there!

I wanted to add mine here, if that's ok:

1.) the sounds of children's laughter
2.) a good book
3.) earplugs (my DH snores!)
4.) my favorite pants still fit (I'm 4 months pregnant so... Not for long!)
5.) sobriety being easier when I do the work

Welcome Bufo. I numbed myself for all my young years. I'm so happy to be free of it. Glad you joined us.

Thank you, it´s nice to have this forum to communicate on between meetings. Because we should never be alone in our recovery.
