Grateful I am alive to quit and enjoy what I have.

My wife explored separation after my Friday binge. I have no more chances with her. This is not how I planned my life to go. My three beautiful children deserve more from me. I do not even enjoy drinking any more, I'm passed drinking like a gentlemen and have to guzzle to feel the way I want. Trouble is I have no off button, nothing to tell me I've had enough. Then pathetically drunk. I am so squared away with a beautiful family and career and home. I have to brush the devil off my shoulder and take control of my life before I lose it all. I'm worth fighting for and so is my family.

West, you are not alone. You can find recovery and there are plenty of people here who will support you and tell you how they did it and continue to do it everyday. You took a great step by posting. You can do this.
