Today I am grateful to have been given a second chance at living! It was not all that long ago that I was in a very dark place drinking and drugging. Did not know who I was but knew where I was headed and at the time that was not bothersome to me as I was in such misery. With the help of a great recovery center I checked myself into I found myself again and got off the booze and xanax. I am grateful I went in when I did because at the rate I was drinking I do not think I would have made it another week. Sad but true. Heck life is not a given but at least being sober this time around is a much better plan.
